A little drawing of my babies, Fossil and Cide, I made while on JM with ~Koiyote. :heart:

Thousands of years ago, Fossil, a woolly mammoth, was killed during an ice age by a saber-toothed cat.
Cide, a life-bringing spirit ((c) ~Koiyote) known to appear as a horse, was in love with him, but she could not be with a mortal. After he passed, she reincarnated him into an immortal horse using the majority of her stored power. Using so much power at once, she damaged his optic nerves, blinding him. Being unable to replenish his eye sight, the spirit killed a slithering snake nearby and implanted its pit organs in Fossil, enabling him to sense other animals by heat. Over time Fossil returned the love that Cide gave him.

Fossil wears the saber-tooth of his killer strung on a piece of rope. He is a dark dark grey lightly dappled draft x friesian cross with milky blue eyes like a shedding snake, and mammoth tusks. His tail is cropped and he has a beard of medium length.

Cide appears as a thin dominant white arabian. Her skin sinks into her empty eye sockets. Her horse form is made of only skin and bones. At night, her skin will become transparent and let off a yellow glow, mimicking the moon. Her skeleton is visible during this time.

He burrows his tusks into the ground and flings greens into the air, catching them in his mouth...
But he prefers eating from trees, it's less of a hassle. :)
